May Day is my all time favorite holiday. Who wouldn't love a holiday celebrating the bounty of spring! And although money is tight this year, I couldn't pass up this adorable ladybug pick I found at a craft store. To save money though, I used seeds saved from my garden and made my own seed packets. I made a garland of twinkling flowers out of some old christmas lights and silk flowers. Then I used the stems and leaves from the flowers to make a bouquet of chocolate 'flowers'. I added a menu of flower recipes and for a finishing touch put in some potted flowering plants! A complete May Day Party in a basket!!
